This grand hall is set in the former RNIB premises in Great Portland Street. Studio K were commissioned to prepare a feasibility study and scheme designs. Two of the 3 bedroom of this 4500ft apartment were proposed to be inserted into the spectacular 23’ high main hall creating more intimate spaces below whilst leaving the majority of the hall with full height ceilings. The build cost for the refurbishment of the hall in a spectacular West End location was a £1.1m indicating the level of finish and specification.
